Aunt Wanda, I remember going out to the farm on Wilson Rd. when my dad Bruce Ickes would bring us to come visit his brother Bud. You were a wonderful cook and your home was cozy and warm. I remember you making afgans and other nice things, and you told us you were part Indian. I wish now I could learn more about your childhood and heritage, but when we were kids, that information went in one ear and out the other. I'll see you again in heaven. Rest in peace dear aunt Wanda.

As a child I grew up calling them Aunt Wanda and Uncle Bud. My father, Bill Drake, was their friend and often worked on farm equipment for them. Going along with him out to their farm on Wilson Rd was always a joy. I am sorry for your loss.
