We met Walt while he was hiking the Appalachian Trail. He stayed at our house while attending his son's (Walt IV) graduation from PT school. He was full of life and excited about his AT adventures. He seem to have a talent for making friends with everyone he met - probably because he was so open and curious about people. In talking with him, it was easy to see how much he loved his family. He is gone, but will not be forgotten. Our thoughts and prayers go out to those who love him.

I'm so sorry to learn of Walt's passing. He was a wonderful guy, passed him frequently in my mail truck while he was working on the power lines. Also knew him from the Rendevouz . My deepest sympathy to the family. 😓😓
