Trebor "Trey" James McFarlane

Trebor “Trey” James McFarlane, age 27 of Grand Haven, passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2018. He was born on August 9, 1991 in Grand Haven to Robert and Kimberly (Rullcoski) McFarlane.

Trey attended Grand Haven High School, and went on to attend Muskegon Community College and later, Lansing Community College. He was a Construction Technician, employed by Build Trust Construction.

Trey was a huge sports fan, and was a standout athlete for the Buccaneers on the football and basketball teams, and also enjoyed success on a Championship AYBT basketball team, coached by Steve Hewitt. Trey was a bright, positive, fun-loving person with a heart of gold. His easy-going demeanor made him a great friend to many.

Trey will be lovingly remembered and missed by his parents, Robert and Kimberly; his two year old daughter, Aaroura Lynn; brother, Justin McFarlane; sister, Chelsey McFarlane; niece, Kaira McFarlane; Auntie Shauna (Glen) Lohrey; Uncle Mike Rullcoski; Aunt Debbie Sprinkel; grandparents, Karen and David Rullcoski; several cousins; and his faithful companion, Springer Spaniel, “Remmy.” He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sharon Horn and James McFarlane.

The Celebration of Life will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, December 10, 2018 at the Grand Haven Community Center, with Rev. Dan Eisnor officiating; Service starting at 6:00 p.m. Interment will be at Robinson Township Cemetery.
