Sally Ann Harmon

Sally Ann Harmon, age 74, of Grand Haven went to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, November 1, 2017. Born April 11, 1943 in Grand Haven, Michigan to the late Eston “Mac” and Helen “Ann” (Zlotnicki) Maxfield. Sally Ann was a resident of the Grand Haven area for her entire life. Sally Ann enjoyed serving the community as a barmaid for the V.F.W. Sgt. Alvin Jonker Post 2326 and the “FOE” for more than 40 years. Sally Ann was a life member of the V.F.W. and also a member of the Eagles Auxiliary #925. Sally Ann enjoyed many activities and had many talents including socializing, writing, singing, bowling, knitting and being a caretaker of others. Sally Ann is survived by her daughters: Kathleen (Steve) Foutz and Jodi L. Patterson (Robert P. Coletta); grandchildren, Tyler & Trevor Foutz, Victoria & Aaron Streacker; brothers, Jack (Connie) Maxfield, Pat (Sally) Maxfield and Mike (Arlene) Maxfield as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her son, Lonnie Harmon and brother, Charles Maxfield. A Celebration of Life for Sally will be from 1:00 – 5:00 P.M. Saturday, December 2nd 2017 at the V.F.W. Sgt. Alvin Jonker Post 2326 in Grand Haven. Memorial contributions may be given to the V.F.W. Sgt. Alvin Jonker Post 2326 or the Grand Haven Gospel Chapel.
