Ross Lee Neely

Ross Lee Neely age 80 of Grand Haven passed away Saturday, April 29, 2017. Ross was born January 22, 1937 to David and Ruth (Boese) Neely in San Francisco, CA. Ross proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He married Nancy Munch on August 26, 1972 in Grand Haven. Ross retired from the city of Holland where he worked as a personal property appraiser. After his retirement, Ross worked part time for Arnie’s Bakery. Ross enjoyed cooking, baking, travel and camping. He especially enjoyed spending time at the holidays with his family. Ross is survived by  his wife, Nancy; daughter, Chris Moore of North Muskegon; sons, Harris (Cindy) Neely of Dallas, TX, Rick Neely of Grand Haven; 4 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; sister, Susan Newman of Grand Haven. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Harris Neely, son-in-law, Michael Moore, brother-in-law, Gordon Newman. A memorial service for Ross will take place at a later date.
