Patricia (Pat) Ann Lambert, age 75 of Grand Haven, passed away November 16, 2015 at her home.  Pat was born August 21, 1940 to Reynold and Irene (Scott) Goertz in Muskegon, MI. She graduated from Muskegon High School in 1958. Pat enjoyed entertaining and spending time with her family and many friends, along with her beloved pets Mandy and Missy.  She also enjoyed camping, gardening, reading, bowling and was an avid Euchre player.  Pat was a long time member of Grand Haven Elks, Eagles and VFW.  She traveled to Acapulco every winter for over 35 years, making many lifelong friends. Pat retired as Deputy Treasurer from the City of Grand Haven in 1993. This included 33 years of dedicated service in various positions in the treasurer office. Pat is survived by her sons, Scott (Tracey) VanVelzen, Mark (Tiffany) VanVelzen both of Grand Haven; step son, Joe (Terri) Lambert of Fruitport; step daughter, Denise (Myke) Grocky of Norton Shores, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Hermina  (Min) VanVelzen; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law and many dear friends. Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Lambert in 2010, granddaughter, Jessica (Ryan) Mellema, brother and sister-in-law, Reginald (Reg) & Lou Goertz and her ex-husband Byron VanVelzen. There will be a Celebration of Life for Pat on Saturday, November 28, 2015 from 3pm to 7pm at the Grand Haven Elks.  Memorial contributions may be made to Harbor Hospice.  Please visit www.klaassenfuneralhome.com to sign Pat’s online guest book.
