Mary Ann (Karwoski) Brown

Mary Ann Brown, age 65 of Grand Haven passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2016. Mary was born May 27, 1950 to Frank and Dorothy (Behm) Karwoski in Grand Haven. She married Gerald Brown May 4, 1974 in Grand Haven. Mary worked for Michigan Plastics for 33 years and then for RAMI for 13 years. She was a member of St. Patrick/St. Anthony Parish. Mary was known for her artistic talent. She was an avid painter and artist, enjoyed gardening, reading and cooking. She appreciated the beauty of the great outdoors spending family time camping and attending drag races. She loved her pets and appreciated the comfort they provided her over the years. Mary will be dearly missed by her husband Jerry; daughters Robin Brown of Palmetto, FL and Michelle Brown of Harrietta, MI; mother-in-law Loretta Brown of Grand Haven; sisters Frances Olech, Katherine (James) Vogler, Theresa (Chet) Krawczyk, Margaret Boyer, Anita (Greg) Parrish, Dorothy (Glen) Groeneveld, Lucy Karwoski; brother Lawrence Karwoski; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Rosemary Fritz. The Mass of Christian Burial for Mary will be 10:30 am Saturday, May 14, 2016 at St. Patrick/St. Anthony Parish with Rev. Philip Shangraw and Rev. William Langlois officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family 5:00-8:00 pm Friday, May 13, 2016 at Klaassen Family Funeral Home.
