Marion Gladys (Kraatz) Gomez

Marion Gladys Gomez age 93 of Grand Haven, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at Heartwood Lodge. Marion was born November 13, 1922 to Arnold and Louise (Moede) Kraatz in Detroit, MI. She married Thomas Gomez on August 8, 1941. Marion enjoyed traveling, playing bingo and gambling at casinos. Marion is survived by her husband of 75 years,Thomas; daughters, Marion (Wayne) Holden of Lecanto, FL, Gail (Bob) Marod of Grand Haven; son, Wayne (Diane) Gomez of Kissimmee, FL, Danny Gomez of Westland, MI; 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Luella Jenders of Homosassa, FL and Gloria Pleshak of Howell, MI. She is preceded in death by her granddaughter Elaine Gomez; brother Norman Kraatz; sisters, Lillian Brooks and Eleanor Thomas. A Family Memorial Gathering will take place at a later date.
