My sympathy to the Family. I worked with Lee at General Motors for several years. He
was a good person. He always seemed to have a new book in hands, that says he had a passion for reading.

You will all miss him but he is in good hands now.

So sorry to hear of Lee's passing. It was amazing how many things he knew something about and what wonderful conversations the topics became in his presence. His letters to the editor were full of good sense and thoughtful care. Hugs, cousin Carol!

My deepest condolences to the Lee Shake family. My mother, Eunice, was Thelma's sister and I remember going to 3888 Amboy Road on Staten Island to visit the family as a young boy. Lee was a bit younger than me, but we played games together during our visits while my Mom and Dad got chiropractic treatments from Thelma or Al. Your entire family is in my thoughts.

Thank you Roger. I'm Lee's oldest and your message means so much to me. Dad used to talk about 3888 quite often as I was growing up and he had very fond memories of his childhood there. It's so very nice to hear from you, as you were a part of that time in his life.
