Lee Entsminger

Leroy Allen Entsminger, age 70 of Grand Haven passed away Monday, October 10, 2016. Lee was born October 21, 1945 to William and Edna (Ploughman) Entsminger in Muskegon, MI. He married Sandy Backus on October 23, 1965. Lee retired from Sealed Power after 25 years of service. He was a member of the UAW. Lee liked to travel and take occasional side trips to local casinos. He was quite handy and enjoyed tinkering in his garage where he would share a cup of coffee with his friends. Lee spent his leisure time hunting, fishing and snowmobiling. He took great pleasure in spending time with his grandchildren. Lee will be lovingly remembered by his wife Sandy; daughters, Dawn (Mike) Van Asperen of Holland, Deb (Todd) Behm of Grand Haven; son, Allen (Mary) Entsminger of Grand Haven; grandchildren, Alex, Megan and Jacob Van Asperen, Mason and Parker Behm, Carter Entsminger; sister, Betty (Jack) Pelkey of Venice, FL; brother, Wayne (Pattie) Entsminger of Ft. Myers, FL ; mother- in-law, Dorothy Backus. Lee was preceded in death by his brothers, Bill and Jim Entsminger. The Celebration of Life for Lee will be 2:00 pm Friday, October 14, 2016 at Klaassen Family Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
