Kathie Ann Gannon

Kathie Ann Gannon, age 64, of Grand Haven passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, January 4, 2018. Kathie was born August 23, 1953 in Patuxent River, Maryland, to James and Joan (Comly) Fett. She married Joseph Gannon on February 14, 1976 in Grand Haven. Kathie was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. She was employed at Dr. William DeWitt’s dental office as a Receptionist. Kathie enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and playing cards. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed all the family gatherings over the years. She is survived by her loving; husband, Joe; daughter, Jenny (Brian) Goosen; sons, Joseph (Michelle) Gannon, Jeff (Kelly) Gannon; 5 grandchildren, Peter, Joey, Kaylee, Alex, Landon; parents, James and Joan Fett. Also surviving are sisters, Debbie (Rock) Helsel, Karen (Roy) Johnson, Pam (Roger) Kintner; in-laws, Mary Jane Sanford, Nancy Viehl, Jim (Marilyn) Gannon; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. A Funeral Service for Kathie will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at 12:00 PM at St. John’s Lutheran Church with Pastor Kurt Wenzelburger officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 9, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Klaassen Family Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Lake Forest Cemetery.
