John "Taz" Beebe

John “Taz” Beebe age 60 of Grand Haven, passed away Monday, June 20, 2016. John was born December 6, 1955 to Rose Beebe in Grand Haven. He graduated from Grand Haven High School where he was a member of the football team. He also played for the Tri-Cities Mariners and played softball during his young adult years. John was known by many and a friend to all. His greatest joy in life was being a part of the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi Tribe. He enjoyed the camaraderie of his “family” during tribal gatherings and family outings and was happiest surrounded by his friends singing oldies tunes. John is survived by his sisters, Becky (John) Kladder of Grand Haven, Lillian (Jim) Zuidema of Spring Lake; brother, Richard Beebe of Grand Haven; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rose Beebe. The funeral service for John will be 11:00 am Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Klaassen Family Funeral Home with Pastor Joshua Vander Klok officiating. Interment will be in Grand Haven Township Lakeshore Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 pm Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at the funeral home.
