Janice Marie (Hauger) Chapman

Janice Marie Chapman age 75 of Grand Haven passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2016.  Janice was born May 8, 1941 to Warder and Virginia (Weaver) Hauger in Martinsville, Virginia. She married Howard Chapman on December 28, 1959 in Murfreesboro, North Carolina. Janice was known for her ability to see art in her surroundings and create art out of anything. She enjoyed the adventures of traveling and performing theater. She passed on her talents to her sons suggesting they sing to the people reaching them with their music by singing into their eyes. Her favorite time of year was Christmas. She will be dearly missed by her husband Howard, sons Hunter Chapman and Christopher (Michelle) Chapman; grandchildren, Justin Dawes, Denise Ulrich, Cameron Dawes and her beloved dogs. A graveside service will take place 11:00 am Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Grand Haven Township Lakeshore Cemetery. Arrangements by Klaassen Family Funeral Home.
