Dear David and Kathi and families,
My parents built a home next door to the Gignacs in 1949 on Spring Lake. Jim and I spent many summer days swimming in the lake. He helped my father with problems on our schooner and liked sailing with him. Jim's mother often invited me to stay for dinner. Oh, there are so many memories. He was so much fun; his great smile was his biggest asset!
My thoughts, prayers, and sympathy to all of you. Fondly, Grace Ann (nee Smith) Weiler from Sunnyvale, CA.

Sorry to read of Jim's passing. Have not seen him in many years, but I remember him well as a classmate in Grade School at St. Patrick's.(Will not say how many years, but we graduated from St. Patrick's in 1953.) He and the surviving family members will be remembered in my prayers.

Dear Gignac Family,
We are saddened to hear of Uncle Jim's passing and we know what a difficult time it is for all of you. Take comfort in knowing that he lived a full rich life and everyone who knew him was the better for his acquaintance. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I first met Jim about 20 years ago when his sister, Midge Byl, suggested I call him to help with a repair. He was a willing handyman whose projects are still here in my home. I always welcomed Jim and his "Can Do" attitude. What a great guy!

Our sincere condolences to Jim's family,
We have only known Jim for almost five years. We met at the Village at the Pines. We have enjoyed Jim's willingness to help others as he became involved in our community. We enjoyed his sense of humor and thought he made a very good pope. We know that he loved his garden and his time with his special friend, Clara. We will truly miss him.

Kathi and David We are very saddened to hear of Jim's passing. We have many happy memories of our times with Jim and Diane. Unfortunately, after Diane passed, we moved to Florida and lost track of Jim. We will always remember Jim as one of the nicest, sweetest gentlemen we have ever known.
