Gloria (Jacobs) Hill

Gloria Hill, age 90 of Grand Haven, formerly Provo, UT passed away Saturday, May 21, 2016. Gloria was born March 6, 1926 to Elmo and Euphemia (Harris) Jacobs in Salem, Idaho. She went on to receive a Master of Science degree from the University of Iowa. She married Frank Hill on September 1, 1956 in Detroit. He preceded her in death on May 24, 2002. Gloria was a registered dietitian. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  Gloria enjoyed cooking, sewing, playing the piano and listening to music. She was an avid reader, and enjoyed the challenge of researching her family genealogy. She will be remembered for her strong work ethics and the joy she brought to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Gloria will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Cynthia (David) Guild of Wyoming, MI, Rebecca (Dirk) Bakker of West Olive; son Kevin Hill of Provo, UT; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers Frank Jacobs and Carvel Jacobs.
