Flossie Ann (Castle) Schoolcraft

Flossie Ann Schoolcraft, age 95 of Grand Haven, passed away Monday, July 18, 2016 at Seville Assisted Living. Flossie was born May 27, 1921 to Ollie and Lottie (Fletcher) Castle in Lincoln Township, Arenac County, MI.  Flossie married Albern “Al” Schoolcraft Sr. on June 25, 1937 in Afton, MI. Al passed away April 25, 2015.  She enjoyed gardening, traveling and camping with Al. Flossie especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. She is survived by her daughters, Sandy Grey of Spring Lake, Debra (Michael) Miller of Spring Lake; grandchildren, Rene (Craig) Aney, Ronda (Todd) Afton, Keli Schoolcraft, Michael (Tara) Miller, Kate (Chris) Chowning, Nicholas (Samantha) Miller; eight great-grandchildren and daughter-in-law, Arlene Schoolcraft of Grand Haven. She was preceded in death by her husband, Al, son, Albern L. Schoolcraft Jr., two sisters and one brother. The funeral service for Flossie will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, July 22, 2016 at Klaassen Family Funeral Home with Pastor Jerald Poehl. Interment will be in Grand Haven Lakeshore Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
