Elizabeth D. (Arndt) Hutchinson

Mrs. Elizabeth D. Hutchinson, age 101, of Grand Haven went to be with her Lord July 6, 2017 in Muskegon.  She was born March 18, 1916 to the late Emil and Emma Arndt in Bay County, Michigan.  She married Kent M. Hutchinson July 16, 1938 in Saginaw, Mi.  He passed away October 2, 1967.  Her previous employment included sales, office work and law office clerk. Elizabeth was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Saginaw when living there.  Throughout her life, she enjoyed dancing, outdoor activities, crafts and traveling.  In 2007 Elizabeth decided to move from the east side of the state to be closer to her family. Her son, John and daughter-in-law, Dyane assisted her in looking at many locations to live in Muskegon, Spring Lake and Grand Haven and her decision was to live at Pinewood Place. It did not take her long to meet many new friends.  As she stated; Grand Haven is so beautiful and it is a friendly city to live.  Grandma Tiz as she is known by many is survived by her son;  John (Dyane) Hutchinson of Muskegon; 2 granddaughters, Gail Hutchinson and Julie (Robert) Koning; 2 great granddaughters; Ashley and Hanna Klaassen.  The service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Pinewood Place, 1500 S. Ferry in Grand Haven with Pastor Kelvin Miller officiating.  Interment will be in Tuscola County Cemetery.  Memorial Contributions may be given to Fellowship Bible Church of Grand Haven.  Arrangements by Klaassen Family Funeral Home.
