Cheryl Lynn (Koetje) Legg

Cheryl Lynn Legg, age 58, of Grand Haven, passed away Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Heartwood Lodge. Cheryl was born October 17, 1956 to Clarence and Eleanor (Hoekwater) Koetje in Hudsonville, MI.  She married Paul Legg on December 3, 1994 in East Lansing, MI. Along with her love for playing the piano, Cheryl enjoyed photography and traveling around the world. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who were touched by her life. Cheryl is survived by her loving husband, Paul; step-daughter, Jennifer Yerrick of Lincoln Park, MI; father, Clarence Koetje of Vogle Center, MI; step-granddaughter, Jordan; step-grandson, Dakota; step-great-granddaughter, Rylee; sister, Kimber-Lee (Brad) Lancaster of Kentwood, MI; brother, Jerry (Vicki) Koetje of Eagle River, AK; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Eleanor. A memorial service for Cheryl will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Fair Haven Church in Hudsonville.
