Cecelia (Nadolski) Stirling

Cecelia Stirling age 87 of Holland, formerly of Chesterfield MI, died peacefully August 20, 2015 at Appledorn Assisted Living Center.  Born in Detroit, she married Raymond Walter Stirling in 1949.  Together they raised three sons, Michael (JoAnn) Stirling of Grand Haven MI, Robert (Mary Kay) Stirling of Dayton OH, and Jeffrey (Judy) Stirling of Chesterfield MI.  Cecelia worked for many years and retired from Great Scott Grocers.  She was a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Warren.  She was an avid knitter and crochetter, donating countless blankets to newborn children in her neighborhood. Crocheted slippers were her family specialty. Cecelia was preceded in death by her beloved Raymond, brother Roman, and sister Sally.  She is survived by her sons and daughter in laws as well as six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and countless nephews and nieces.   The memorial service for Cecelia will be 10:30 am Friday, August 28, 2015 at St. Mary Queen of Creation Church 50931 Maria Street New Baltimore, MI
