So many memories with Uncle Bruce, I cannot put them all on paper, I will miss you dearly as you are my favorite uncle. It is hard for me to imagine that you are gone. I will miss that phone call every year on my birthday. I know you are in a better place now, but it doesn't make it any easier. Love you always and forever in my heart.

Just learned today about Bruce. Both of you are in our thoughts and prayers. I was blessed to have had him as a partner and a dear friend. His smile, sense of humor, and laugh helped get through many days at LRF. We sure had some good times, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have known such a wonderful man.

With heartfelt sympathy,

Jim & Cathy Peterman

Bruce will be sadly missed by all his friends at River Haven Village. He was a joy to know especially his love of his fairhful dog "Spooks". May they meet again.

Uncles have a special role. Not being our Father, they can be a friend a supporter
and best of all a Big Brother in a different way than anyone else in our lives. They are both a relative and a companion; one of the few people able to be both. Whether they are crazy and weird and only seen at Holidays or My fishing buddy and mentor, the loss of an Uncle is a particularly hard one. His loss, however, is filled with the years of Happy Memories we had, and that special connection that belongs only to Uncles.... ♥ Always Remembered, Never Forgotten .. ♥

I am so sorry. It seems like yesterday when you left Brett with us when you went to Arizona when Bruce's brother had cancer. Also when you lived in Houghton that wasn't long ago either. My heart goes out to you Marta and your family. Always remember Bruce with a book, beer, and cigarette. Caring person too and fun.

Dear Marta and family, I'm so sorry for your loss. I have a wish for you, I hope it helps comfort you. My wish for you...may you find comfort on difficult days, smiles when sadness intrudes, and rainbows to follow the clouds. May God Bless you now and forever more.
With Love,
Ruthie
