Brad was my director during the time period I worked in Afghanistan back in 2011 and by far, outside of being a very cool guy, he was the most kind hearted respectable man I've ever known.

My sincere condolences to Brad's family. I worked with Brad both in Iraq and Afghanistan and remember his as a kind, caring man who was always willing to help and support his co-workers and friends. I am glad that I had an opportunity to have met him and known him and was very devastated to hear the news of his passing. He seemed so strong, robust and healthy that I thought he would live forever. Rest in peace Brad and may you soar with the angels.

I had just recently reconnected with Brad in the last couple years via Facebook. I reached out to him to ask if it was really the guy I remembered from Owosso. He replied that he remembered me too.

In junior high we hung out together. I recall a fun filled night of shenanigans at his parents house back in the day. A bunch of other guys all spent the night pulling pranks on each other, and doing what young spirits do. That night and sliver in time left an impression on me. Always wondered about him after I moved away from Michigan.

Looks like he led a full life with many friends. Total shock to hear of his passing. Sincere condolences to his friends and family on their loss left behind.

Remembering the first time I ever met Brad in 2005 at Camp Bucca, Iraq. Monster of a man, wearing a monster of a Bowie knife building trusses in 120 plus degree heat by himself. Amazingly intelligent man! Terrific man all around and I'm honored to of been friends with him. Rest in Peace, Brad.
