Addison William Wolf, age 89 of Grand Haven went home to be with his Savior March 10, 2018 from Fountain View Assisted Living in Coopersville surrounded by family. Addison was born March 17, 1928 in Grand Haven to the late Anthony and Julia (Metzler) Wolf. In 1949 he married Doris Rider. Addison was a charter member of Robinson Baptist Church and a faithful servant. He loved and lived the farming life and was also a good truck driver. He had a passion for music through singing and playing the piano, and many other instruments. He is survived by 4 daughters; Vaunetta Shumake, Susan Harrison, Anita (Larry) Hawley all of Grand Haven and Debbie (Ron) Wolf-Bower of Bozeman, MT; 5 sons, Marvin of Wilson, New York, Robert (Barb) Wolf of Arizona, Pat (Penny) Wolf of Grand Haven, Tim (Michelle) Wolf of Norton Shores, Jim (Julia) Wolf of Rothbury; 29 grandchildren, 47 Great-Grandchildren, 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren, and sister Gwen( Pete) Phipps. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Doris, and son Gerald “Jerry” Wolf. The Memorial Service celebrating Addison’s life will be Thursday, March 15th at 11:00 AM at Robinson Baptist Church, 12011 N. 120th Ave, Grand Haven with Rev. John Kaufield presiding. Interment will be at Robinson Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of North Ottawa Community.
