I just saw that Joanne passed. I wanted to pass along my condolences. Joanne was a real joy to spend time with even when she was not feeling well.

Happy Birthday, Grandma!

I hope you're quilting or traveling today, now that you can breathe and see.

Don't forget to have a Manhattan to celebrate!

I will love you always.

Dear Family, Though years, and distance, have caused us to lose touch still we think of y'all often. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you say goodbye to this "beautiful" lady, your mother, grandmother, great grandmother, who has touched so many lives over the years. May God grant you peace and comfort in knowing that she is now home in His ever-loving arms.

Love in Christ, Uncle Roger & Pamela

I am so sorry to hear about Joanne. I will keep you all in my prayers. I really enjoyed her when she was my patient ...all of our talks about life and experiences. I could appreciate her comment about"breathing" it gave me a good laugh. She will be truely missed. But now she will no longer have to struggle to breathe.

Gram Cracker,

I can't put in words how much I miss you. You were my role model, and by far the best grandma ever. I miss hearing you laugh and smile and cracking jokes. You will forever be in my heart. I can't wait to see you again.

I love you.

We would like to extend our deepest sympathy and hoping, too, that comfort and peace may come to you all.

Your mom/grandmother will be sadly missed but in our hearts, she'll always be there.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Remember that she will always be watching over you!

Love you always, Tim, Kim, Jesse and Zach

Gma, you left me with an unfinished game of Words With Friends. I fully expect us to pick this up again next time we're together. No hiding just because I was winning.

You should also know: you're the only grandma I know who had an iPad, chatted over FaceTime and played Words With Friends. Which makes you the coolest grandma in history.

I will miss you always.
