I am sad to hear of Aunt Dort's passing. Having lost my own mom just within the past week, I want to express my sincere sympathy to Betty, Lee and Ed. Its so hard to lose your mom and yet with faith we know we will see them again someday. My special memory of Aunt Dort would be from Thanksgiving day celebrations when we used to all come together at my family's house in Muskegon. I remember her pecan pie and her lemon jello salad with pear halves and cream cheese nut balls. I loved that salad and have even made it for my own family's Thanksgiving day dinner. My thoughts are with you today. Sharon (Way) Loughridge

My mom, Jeanne Nietering, told me about my Aunt's death today. At 70, I remember so much about her. We had such good times at her house when we were all young. Your parents and mine played cards for some 75 years....now that's a long time. My sympathies to the family.
