Glen Nelson Bronson, age 60, of Grand Haven passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 24, 2012 at Holland Hospital. He was born to Glenn (Mary) Bronson on July 30, 1951 in Grand Haven. Glen was a veteran of the U.S Army, serving in Vietnam. He worked at Johnson Controls for 18 years. Glen enjoyed fishing, had a good sense of humor, loved his dog, Bufford, and was extremely dedicated to his mother. He is survived by his mother, Mary Butterfield; significant other, Janis DeVreese; sisters, Kay (Frank) Ely of San Antonio, TX and Glenda (Dick) VanRaalte of Grand Haven; brothers, Forrest (Debbie) Bronson of Benton City, WA and Brian (Debra) Bronson of Zeeland; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Glenn. A Private Family Service for Glen will be held on Friday, June 29, 2012 with Rev. Kathy Colliver officiating. Interment at Grand Haven Township Lakeshore Cemetery. Full Military Rites by Charles A. Conklin Post #28.
